Celebrating ‘The Nordic Way’ with the Nordic Embassies and HÅLLNING
On September 20, 2017, the embassies of Sweden, Norway, Finland, and Denmark hosted a grand celebration at Shangri-La Hotel, Jakarta, themed The Nordic Way.
The event brought together over 600 high-profile guests, including Indonesian Minister for Environment and Forestry Ibu Siti Nurbaya Bakar, Minister for Maritime Affairs and Fisheries Ibu Susi Pudjiastuti, and ambassadors from numerous countries.

The celebration featured engaging exhibitions showcasing Nordic innovations and sustainable solutions for Indonesia. Guests explored how Nordic companies contribute to Indonesia’s growth through cutting-edge products and services. The event also offered a buffet of traditional Nordic cuisine and stunning photo exhibitions highlighting the natural beauty of Nordic countries.
The Giveaway Winner!
HÅLLNING proudly participated with its mission to “Make Indonesia a Better Place to Sit.” Attendees admired the sleek design and ergonomic features of the Capisco Puls chair, sparking curiosity and excitement. A giveaway of the iconic chair added to the buzz, with Borgar Olsen Tormodsgard, Susilo Ady Kuncoro, and Bobby Hartanto emerging as the lucky winners.
