Sleep Ergonomic is the science of vitality.

The spinal column is one of the most vital part of the human body and provides the main support for our body, making all our movements possible while protecting the spinal cord from injury (source: mayfieldclinic.com). The well-designed structure of the spine serves many functions and maintaining this spinal curvature through proper posture while sleeping and lying is vital for decreasing stress, muscular pain and preventing fatigue for general good health.

Our years of expertise in sleep ergonomics identified two main spectrum of postural discomfort: 1. Upper body postural discomfort (areas concerning neck, shoulders and middle back). 2. Lower body postural discomfort (areas concerni10ng lower back and hip). Numerous research also point to the benefit of mattress being individualized to fit individual needs with spinal alignment in supine being supported in a similar posture to that in standing.(Radwan et. al. 2015).
